A pleasant two hours along the river and through the Wilderness. The weir pool collects everything that floats down from upstream, so there is always plenty.
We stay on the path — nobody goes near the weir edge.
Market day parking can be tight, so allow a few extra minutes.
Bring gloves if you have them — we can provide bags and try to provide other equipment where we can. Whatever time you have available, however small, will be very much appreciated.
