The beck catches everything that blows off the road above it, and a couple of hours here makes a visible difference to the whole valley.
Wellies or walking boots are essential and we will have a few spare pairs. We work in pairs near the water and nobody goes in — anything mid-stream gets left for the team with the proper kit.
This is a longer one at two and a half hours, but you are welcome to leave whenever you need to.
Bring gloves if you have them — we can provide bags and try to provide other equipment where we can. Whatever time you have available, however small, will be very much appreciated.
