Ilkley sits in Bradford rather than Leeds, but litter does not care about boundaries and neither do we. This is a joint pick with the volunteers who cover the Wharfe.
We start at Riverside Gardens and work both banks up towards the stepping stones. Summer weekends leave a great deal behind.
Three hours, with a proper break in the middle. Train station is a five minute walk.
Bring gloves if you have them — we can provide bags and try to provide other equipment where we can. Whatever time you have available, however small, will be very much appreciated.
